Lodging for the National Summit on Rural Traffic Safety Culture will be at the Huntley Lodge and Summit Hotel at Big Sky Ski and Summer Resort.

Conveniently located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village the Huntley Lodge is adjacent to the Yellowstone Conference Center - the site of all Summit events. The three-story hotel is as tasteful as it is convenient. The Huntley complex includes a fine dining room, lounge, coffee cart, concierge, shops, meeting rooms and Solace Spa.

Across the mall from the Huntley Lodge and Yellowstone Conference Center is the Summit. The elegant Euro-Western Summit at Big Sky made its debut in March 2000 and features eight residential levels, two public levels with reception, concierge, meeting rooms, fitness center, indoor/outdoor soaking pool, Peaks Restaurant, The Carabiner Lounge, Provisions resort wear gift shop, and espresso cart. There are also three levels of underground parking.

Room accommodations and rates are as follows:

Huntley Lodge (standard room), 2 queens (single or double occupancy) - $125.00 per night plus tax*
Huntley Lodge (loft), 3 queens - start at $135.00 per night plus tax

Summit (studio), single or double occupancy - $155.00 per night plus tax **
Summit (standard hotel room), 2 queens (single or double occupancy) - $170.00 per night plus tax **
Summit (standard hotel room), 1 king (single or double occupancy) - $180.00 per night plus tax**

*25 rooms will be held for government employees at the prevailing government per diem rate ($102.00 plus tax). ID card must be provided at check-in. Rooms will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
** 5 Summit hotel rooms have been set aside at a rate of $135.00 per night plus tax. To receive this rate, you MUST notify Traci Ulberg at Meetings Northwest (866-633-8110). Note: You will still need to make your room reservation through the hotel. Rooms will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Individuals are responsible for making their own reservations and can do so by calling 1-800-548-4486, ask for the National Summit for Rural Traffic Safety Culture. Please make your reservations prior to June 10th. Reservations received after June 10, 2010 will be honored on a space available basis.

Important Notes:

  • Children ten and under sleep free in the same room as parents with existing bedding.
  • Taxes/fees are estimated at 17%.
  • All sleeping and meeting rooms are smoke-free.
  • The group rate will be honored 3 days pre and 3 days post group dates (July 10-14, 2010) based on availability.
